Woods
Purpose: Long-distance shots

Hybrids
Purpose: Versatile long-to-mid range shots

Easier to hit than long irons and great for shots from the fairway, rough, or tee.
Irons
Purpose: Accuracy and distance control

Long irons (3–4): Longer shots, harder to hit consistently.

Mid irons (5–7): Approach shots to the green from moderate distances.

Short irons (8–9): Shorter, more precise shots into the green.
Wedges
Purpose: Short shots, control, and scoring

Pitching Wedge (PW): Short approach shots and full swings close to the green.

Putters
Purpose: Rolling the ball into the hole
