The Stinger tee is made of extremely tough material, to stand up to a lot of abuse.  The design incorporates a series of hi impact O-rings around the head, which protects both your club head and tees.  A set comes in 1 long and 1 short, connected by a tough nylon cord.  Practical usage is to place your ball on one tee, insert the other into the ground to act anchor, thus preventing the tee to fly off.
